A Renovation for Divine Treasures Development Center Phase I

In December of 2018 Beyonka Heine, the founder, owner and director of Divine Treasures in Lafayette approached our firm for assistance with the renovation of her 4,448 square foot child care facility for children ranging in age from infant to 4 years of age.

A Renovation for Divine Treasures Development Center Phase II

When the owner of Divine Treasures decided to grow the physical square footage of her business by 8,814 square feet she approached our firm once again for assistance. Two buildings that opened directly onto the playground for her existing daycare had become available and she needed design assistance for their renovation.

In the business of daycare the allowable ratio of children per care giver is set by code. Code requirements were used to size the new daycare rooms while maximizing the owners potential for profit.  Our firm also looked for opportunities to recycle existing components like lighting, mechanical systems and millwork as a way to reduce the owner’s start up costs.

Completion of renovations for the two additional buildings as part of the Phase II is set for the middle of 2022.

Developers

We offer collaboration on functional design solutions for Developers

Dixie Fields Retail Center is the product of one of many collaborations between a local developer and David Robichaux, owner and principal architect for Parish Architecture. In August of 2019 David was tasked with developing a proposal for a retail outlet located on acreage with direct access to Rice Capital Parkway in Crowley, Louisiana. The retail outlet design included two 10,361 square foot retail buildings with associated parking, code analysis and site development.  Dixie Fields Retail Center was to be built as part of phase one for the two phase development.
