David Robichaux, Principal Architect, AIA, NCARB
After growing up in south Louisiana and receiving his degree from the University of Southwest Louisiana, David began his career with the Resorts Development Corp. and David Jacobson and Associates in Atlantic City during its boom era. He followed the coast down to the Mobile-Pensacola region and practiced for several years for the area’s most significant firms and projects. In 1994, David came back to south Louisiana with a wealth of unique experiences and began managing diverse projects for prominent firms in Lafayette, including Architects Southwest, Guidry Beasley Architects, and James Broussard Associates. In 2018, David grasped the opportunity to begin Parish Architecture to bring an expert level of project management and building technology along with great design that only a deeply experienced professional office can offer. David’s understanding of the newest technologies along with archaic and traditional building systems allows Parish Architecture to optimize designs for new, existing, and historical structures and sites. He has been at the forefront of the implementation of low-impact site development and is passionate about delivering design solutions that satisfy the client’s needs.
