Ava is a proud Lafayette native and a recent graduate of The University of Louisiana at Lafayette, where she earned her bachelor’s and master’s degree. Her final project focused on material wear and the authenticity of historical buildings which sparked a deep interest in historic materials—especially the beauty and resilience of masonry and tiles—and continues to inspire her work today.

When she’s not diving into architectural history or exploring aged textures, she’s probably hanging out with her dog, Sally.
